Besides the low temperatures, there are many other challenges that winter brings and that we are supposed to deal with, such as chipped lips, dry skin, stuffy nose, winter storms, darkness at 4 in the afternoon and etc.

However, the most annoying things are definitely the driveways and walkways covered with ice and snow. There are problems with the cars too. We can drive if there is a little bit of snow on the driveways but if the ice has covered the windshield the driving is not only illegal and impossible, but also highly dangerous.

Many people consider the scraping and defrosting the car as really annoying but the truth is that it does not have to be so annoying. Instead of getting up very early in order to get your car ready for work, you can save your energy and time by doing this:

Take a spray bottle container and put one part water and two parts isopropyl alcohol into it. Mix them and then add one tablespoon of liquid dish washer. Spray this mixture onto the icy windshield and see how the ice melts away in seconds.

This spray is a perfect solution for the icy windshields. If you leave this bottle into your car it will not freeze unless the temperatures are extremely low. Isopropyl alcohol freezes at -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit and this is the reason why it does not freeze when you spray it on the icy windshields. On the contrary it helps the ice to melt away and keeps the windshield from re-freezing. This is the easiest and the fastest way to remove the ice.

Watch the video below to see how this works and make your life easier this winter.
