Lebron James Gives Away $41 Million For This Reason And It’s Something That Only Few People Can Do!
James LeBron, the famous NBA superstar, has become the 6th most humanitarian athlete in the world after donating money to the community which raised him with a charitable donation. With his donation, he will provide university scholarships for 1.100 children from Ohio.
James LeBron, who grew up in Akron, had a slightly difficult childhood. However, his life changed when his mother let him live with Fran Walker’s family, who was a youth football coach. Namely, James got into basketball through Walker.
James LeBron gave away $ 41 million to provide an opportunity to 1.100 Ohio students to go to college for free. In this way, he wanted to give back to the community that raised him. In partnership with the University of Akron, James provided university scholarships, which will include the general service fee of the university, plus the tuition, or it would approximately $9.500 a year.
While James was taking part in an event organized for students back at Cedar Point Amusement Park in July, he gave out his program. Cleveland Cavaliers star stated that it is the main reason why he does what he does. He also added that those students have big dreams and that he was very happy to help them to go to college.
However, there are certain criteria for qualifying for the scholarship, and it will be accessible to students who graduate at the high school of Akron and who will fulfill the standard testing requirements. Moreover, students, who will qualify for the scholarship, will have to fulfill a community service responsibility. James also added that the children will have to earn the scholarships, and that he was very pleased when he saw what the students could achieve in the future. It was very important to him, because as a child who grew up in the Akron and a great number of African-American children, he did not think about high school. He claimed that people cannot predict their future. When children think about high school, and when they graduate, they do not think of their future, because their family cannot financially support them to go to college or it seems impossible.
Michele Campbell, the chief executive of the James LeBron Family Foundation, stated that the future of the Ohio children changed thanks to James. Not all of us could be a famous NBA superstar, so to provide university scholarships to 1.100 children and to make their dreams come true was really a great privilege.http://viralgallerysite.com/lebron-james/http://viralgallerysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/c683e4ca57975e89.jpghttp://viralgallerysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/c683e4ca57975e89-150x150.jpgMagazineLebron James
