Terrifying Footage Of The Earthquakes In Italy – The Mountains Were Cracking As They Were Made Of Glass
Some huntsmen have made a terrifying video of the terrible earthquake that happened recently in Italy.
The earthquake with 6.6 magnitude on the Richter scale had its epicenter in the mountain region of Italy. Some huntsmen were in the mountains at that time and they recorded the power that the nature released.
According to Italian media, this earthquake was the strongest recorded earthquake in Italy in the last 40 years and it cracked the mountain Monte Vettore. It is still not know how deep the crack is, but it definitely serves as a visual metaphor of how terrible this earthquake was.
Fortunately, nobody was killed. Hundreds of less powerful earthquakes followed this one and according to the experts’ predictions the earthquakes will continue in the future. One of the future earthquakes that they fear of is the one that can cause a landslide and cracking of the mountain’s peak.
This earthquake is part of the series of shakes which started in August with the 6.2 magnitude earthquake, on the Richter scale. The epicenters of the earthquakes are in the Apennine Mountains, a mountain range in Italy.
What is unusual about this natural disaster is that several powerful earthquakes happened in a short time. On the other side, it is normal for a substantial amount of time to pass in order for such a powerful earthquake to happen.
