The Federal Commission of Communications made a requirement that all producers should adhere to a SBA limit up to 1.6 W/kg. These 5 cell phone models emit the highest levels of radiation: Motorola Droid Ultra and Motorola Droid Maxx (with 1.54 SBA), Motorola Moto E (with 1.49 SBA), Huawei Vitria (with 1.49 SBA) and Alcatel One Touch Evolve (with 1.49 SBA).

Sadly, this still doesn’t mean that the other models are safe for use and thus you need to know this:

Follow these tips:

Use speakers or headphones, they emit much less radiation from the cell phone. Make sure to keep your phone as far away from your ear, and the body in general when you use it. Make calls only when you have a strong signal, since weaker signal means that your phone uses more energy to send a signal.

Avoid the “radiation shield” if you ever thought about that. These types of radiation protection like covering the keyboard or antenna, will only reduce the connection quality. This will only force your cell phone to use much more energy, emitting more radiation. You should strongly limit mobile phone usage by children. Their brain absorbs twice as much cell phone radiation than the adults, putting them at greater risk. So, activate the “airplane mode” whenever you can, because this will reduce the radiation transmission. Make sure to turn off the phone when you sleep.
